Make ALL toys usable in the open world and non competitive instances

Why are many toys restricted to certain zones? What’s even the point of them being in the game?

The only exception I can think of is the N’Zoth toy in dungeons or bgs, that would be a mess.

Some toys are restricted in instanced content because they’re used for zone-breaking. Getting into out of bounds areas to skip content.

Most of them are just a mystery to me.

Well yep, that’s why I pointed that out in the title, don’t really want that in arena, rbgs or m+.

Because they were used to break the zones, causing crashing, extreme load times and the like.

Hmm, never heard of this, mind explaining how a toy can break a zone with an example? First time I’m hearing this tbh

Korthia had a big deal with it with a toy that could be placed every few seconds, a little ball of light at the portal zone in, It would either crash your game or give you a 5 minute load time

That would probably fall under the heading of “exploit” and is a big nono on forums.

Sounds like people just simping for blizz instead of expecting them to fix their game smh

That’s odd, I never encountered this issue and I did play that patch quite a bit (no idea why).

I still don’t think it’s worth removing all toys from previous expansions from the game.

Well the simple reason is people. People will find ways to just be as annoying as possible to others, and that includes just placing an obscene number of toys on a location you need to click on.

It happens every time without fail to this day, even during the secret hunt people were doing it.

There’s your answer. People are the reason we can’t have nice things.

I still think these “incidents” seem too isolated and rare to justify removing a chunk of content, never ran into them or even heard about them until now lol

The only example I can think of where there’s an actual reason (albeit a bad one) is that the feather from Draenor that shoots you up in the air lets you see the fact that Silvermoon City is unfinished and tops aren’t painted on buildings and whatnot.
