Dragonhawks have always been one of the weirdest, most awkward looking mounts in the game. Not looking particularly dragony nor hawky. They always looked to me more like some kind of weird bug/serpent type creature. I’ve never been inclined to use one beyond the few seconds it takes to realise it’s awful and I have no interest in using it.
But now look at what the Reforged team have managed to pull off!
They’ve made a dragonhawk look cool! I look at it and I see parts like a hawk and parts like a dragon. I see a clearly defined head, body and tail. I see feathers. I see a mount I would actually like to use!
WoW guys, no offense but it’s time to take a few lessons from the Reforged team!
Exactly what I meant. I un-ticked Reforged news for… some strange reason. I don’t plan on playing it, but the new models were/are interesting. Back on the sub list it goes~
Hoping most of the wc3/sc2 map editors see these new models and decide to bring their maps over.
It’ll be interesting to work with a better system / higher definition models for them.
I wouldn’t be surprised if WC3 reforged actually throws a dent in WoW player numbers for awhile. All the custom game modes back in the day were absolutely amazing, and engaging.
