It’s simple:
Double dps team starts at 10% damp, healer team starts at 50%. Healer teams will still win 99% of games, but at least it will be somewhat fair
or just play with an augvoker and oneshot healer/dps teams goober

TBH though this is basically how cata is atm and it opens a huge amount of double dps comp up to be played, similar to shadowlands where the top 2s teams were fighting things like demo/ret - spriest/aff and a bunch of other rogue/hunter comps that were all double dps was pretty fun.
Rogue mage can die though.

Nah, they kinda own in 2s no cap. They’re also right, if you can’t make double dps work in 2s you’re just terrible at wow.
What double dps players actually want is to be able to out heal and out damage a healer dps team while they simultaneously get a passive sharpen applied to them.

wot? double dps 2s have been bad for like 2 expacs now, cc changes and too many immune to cc stuff and huge defensives that can be used in cc etc. offhealing being weak too.

really because im qing 2.4k mmr 2s all the time and about 90% of the time you get 5+ min crumb farm queues where you smash some bad 2.1k team non of which are playing double dps

There’s like a hump at 2.2-2.3 where you fight a lot of bm, after that the comps open up

Maybe I just need to try to break through that wall of hunters, but man it’s like their damage becomes unhealable faster than any other spec
