Are we allowed to talk about it? It’s like one level below the original version of Theralion.

The lisp is annoying. I installed BeQuiet hoping it would mute him in ruby life pools but it unfortunately did not work. May have to find the sound files and delete them so I don’t have to listen to that annoying lisp every time I run the dungeon.

OP - you need to separate the art from the artist.

There’s just something fundamental I dislike about Majordomo Selistra, but I can’t quite place what it is. Maybe it’s the way she talks. Maybe it’s the visage form. Maybe it’s the fact that she acts so nonchalant while the Ruby Life Pools are being pillaged in the eponymous dungeon.

Then again, most voice acting in DF feels like it had one take, so maybe it’s just that.

I never heard a lisp? She does have bad voice acting, however.

I usually only listen to dungeon dialogue for like the first couple weeks of a patch/expansion. I never noticed anything out of the ordinary as far as WoW voice acting goes…

Actually, I think the proper pronoun is ‘they’ for them. At least, that’s what it said when I tried to look up who their voice actor is. :dracthyr_no2:

Would it surprise you to know that I play with the sound turned way the heck OFF? That way I don’t have to listen to androgynous dragonkin, centaurs from Brokeback Mountain, and a really REALLY super obnoxious blue haired dwarfling.

She does this laugh in questing when she talks about the eggs being destroyed. It’s questionable “hehehe… and now this”

That came off as a “im stressed and sometimes you just laugh in a ‘oh of course this happens now’ way” so its fine.

Any stressed out worker can make that reaction
