I tried to log onto a second character to access my house interior and when I got inside my house there was a short buffering then all of the placed decor was removed and returned to my inventory. Several hours of work was deleted. To be clear my house still has the exact same room layout and I did not switch faction housing areas. This was 1 horde character logging in after another horde character. This needs to be resolved before live.

I also had my interior and exterior reset and did not log onto a second character like OP. It’s definitely a major bug. I can say I had dyed items and the dyes were fine yesterday, but they reset today prior to the total wipe / reset. No idea if that’s linked somehow.
Also experienced this. Might be an issue with PTR, because the realm of my main character is offline for some reason
Are you playing a Priest on Razaghast, by chance? If so, I was playing Danari when your items kept poofing! I dyed some items too, but everything was where it should be when I returned about an hour later (I did log off & quit the game in between). Are you using any addons or do you have addons that might be affecting your game?
I also had an issue where all of my interior and exterior decor disappeared. I was working on an alliance house and later started working on a horde house.
I assumed the alliance decor disappeared because of the horde house, but wasn’t really sure if something else could have caused the issue.
It might have, I am pretty sure that the housing chest you furnish from is shared by both sides. Although, if you placed it in your Horde house, it shouldn’t still be in the chest when you go to your Alliance house…
I can’t remember if it happened after I logged in on an alt, but I also had my decor reset. At first it was just the interior, but later the exterior reset as well. At first, when I noticed they were gone, I checked by storage chest and they weren’t there. A moment later, they did show up in the chest, but only after enough time that I had started to panic.
