Is there a reason blizzard is the only company to take an entire ****** day to do maintenance? Other games do patches and what have you on tues as well but the difference is it takes them only a couple hours. Blizzard not only says it’ll take 6-8 hours but then they extended that time by more hours. maybe instead of ripping people of their game time that they pay for each month you should start doing this crap while people are sleeping.

Really? Because I’ve seen Old Rebublic down for a whole day. Rift used to do that, too, from time to time. So did Aion back in the day. As did ArcheAge.
And your time zone isn’t the only one in existence. There’s a whole world out there. Go for a walk alone, go shopping for Christmas online, do your school work, do your job work, play with your pets, go hug Wookies in Old Republic, etc.

I personally love the creeping restart time.
Not being ripped off. You paid for it and acknowledged that maintenance is on every Tuesday. Also, your time is not more important than the employees time. Deal with it and do something productive IRL.

Probably because they love cutting development and maintenance positions to increase shareholder profit at the expense of our convenience. Although, this kind of maintenance isn’t unusual for them anyway but could probably be solved with more skilled labor.

seriously dude find something else to do, we pay month so we have these maintenance to happen, I personally want go into game that running well then crashing and bugging out. Clearly never played back in day seriously Vanilla huge maintenance periods. Get over yourself, they owe you nothing.

Stop complaining. Maintenance is clearly stated in the ToS. You agreed to it the moment you clicked the agree button. If you don’t like how Blizzard’s maintenance works, you can always stop playing.

FFXIV actually does take an entire day to do maintenance so not sure what you’re crying about over here.
