Normal people don’t play WoW! :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d find it really hard to believe the majority of WoW players work a 9-5

Excuse me for saying “Normal” Troll I meant to say less people are probably playing 2 - 5 a.m. cause that is not usual Thank you.

Why are you mad? I’m 36 and know they have people who know how to work on servers/update them at night. If you think they don’t have people already on night shifts, then you are mistaken.

I guess if you live in Hawaii, the US server maintenance is kind of overnight.

No they don’t, they have a couple people on call who are summoned to log in remotely or come into the office. But people aren’t sitting in the Blizzard offices 24/7 waiting for downtime.

Well during the day, NORMAL people actually go to work and they sleep at night.

Besides it’s Nov. 3rd, election day, you should be out voting or encouraging others to vote.

Being on call means they can work at night and do the job at night.

I don’t know what the work schedule for Blizzard is like but I do know that they’ve decided to do maintenance during the day on Tuesday and as an adult you should be able to deal with that.

The fact that you’re 36 years old and are actually complaining this much about something so ridiculous is so embarrassing.

Wait, I am the troll even though you were the one who said “normal” and now you think your 2-5am is everyone’s 2-5am?

Blizzard and I actually have an arrangement to do server maintenance at this exact time, every Tuesday. They actually came to me one day back in 2003? and said what works best for you?

I said anytime but early morning Tuesday PST. So they chose this exact time in order to spite me. I found it to be a very cruel yet clever punishment, so I’ve endured it without complaint for many years now.

They’ll have emergency techs on call for sudden outages, sure, but not their entire dedicated maintenance team, who undoubtedly work normal hours.

Again, if you think it is normal to work graveyard shifts once every few weeks to cater to people that whine online, then knock yourself out. Blizzard could apparently use the help. :stuck_out_tongue:

First, I’m an orc. Unless you thought I was trolling you in pointing out reasonings for why people aren’t working overnight shifts just so that malcontents like you don’t whinge on the forums for four hours every time they have to fix something.

Second, this was really confusing because you changed what character you were using to post. :stuck_out_tongue:

But the maintenance team aren’t

I’m just giving my opinion that if they work at night while we are sleeping it would help us not have to deal with downtime. If you can’t accept my opinion and only belittle me, then you’re not very mature.

They came to me first, I sent them your way because you’re more normal.
