I don’t know what’s worse, the fact this is a pretty consistent trend for Blizzard or people for not expecting when Blizzard says 7 hours they usually mean 24.
Why do people keep bringing up “its the code!” or “its old data that are conjoin twinning.”
They literally made a post saying the entire reason for this downtime is the mailing system. Everyone who has particapted in a alpha or closed beta test warned of the problem that people mailing themselves marks will be to a system that has been copy and pasting characters between servers for over a decade.
It was an oversight that was completely ignored by the devs for literal months, and here we are now. Please stop trying to paint it as anything other than what it factually is.
I’m starting to think this is the alternate timeline where we lost to the Legion. The servers aren’t coming back up, we’ve lost, Azeroth is gone. Game over man. Game over.

they tend to wait just as servers are supposed to go up so kicking us in the balls hurts more my friend.

They went from a 9pm (EST) - 1am extension barely over an hour after posting the initial 9pm.
Don’t understimate their potency to take critical hits on a whim.
About 10 minutes until the next delay announcement!
