Look it’s a bummer when you try to get in and the servers are down but, better they do maintenance than none at all. For those who only have a day to play or have made specific plans to play and a random server day happens that sucks.
For everybody else though, surely life isn’t so devoid responsibility that wow is all there is?
It seems like there’s so much outrage when these maintenance days happens and I just don’t get it, yeah we pay for it but it’s like 14$ for a month. Go to a gas station and try bot to spend 10$. I’m not white knighting blizzard, which is an idiotic term but I keep seeing that too. People are just too worked up. Games are supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing but if it causes a tantrum by not being able to play it, maybe there’s another problem.

Coherent feedback, especially of the negative variety, is incredibly important to corporations such as Blizzard.
While we can talk about money and convenience, the root of the problem is that the service is performing poorly with little communication for the consumers.
If we were all the roll over and get pregnant passive type, nothing would ever improve.
So please, don’t roll over. Hide your hand. Help the system.

So let’s say we do that, they shut the servers off for maintenance to fix it. Then what?
What is the solution you think your fighting for?
Server and game stability have degraded significantly in the past 2 months. People are going to be upset about that.

Accountability and communication. Not a solution, but a step toward transparency to lull the negativity. Clarity would eliminate a lot of speculation.

To be honest I’ve not read nor looked for any notes during maintenance but if what your saying is true and they aren’t giving any details to what’s going on then yes, I agree that’s a cause for concern.
I’m confused on what speculation you’re talking about? Isn’t it obvious why they are doing maintenance everyday when you look at the quality of the game, the lag, the bugginess, and everything else?
Stop. We know you guys are crying bc you can’t play wow for an hour. Relax and let them fix their servers.

I don’t notice any bugs personally, I’ve seen people talk about a those issues alot so I’m not going to say they don’t exist but •shrug

All I can say here is that you are the type of person I find incredibly boring, nerdy, and limited.
People have different values, hobbies and interests. Respect that. Warcraft has been almost the only thing I’ve enjoyed for years, it literally saved me from suicide.
If it’s not as important to you as it is to me, it doesn’t give you the right to be rude to me for being upset that the servers are down.

Actually your post is a perfect example of this, maybe you don’t understand what it means.
People have been playing this game for 20 years, you’re not the only one who feels that way or have had some of those experiences. If it’s that important to you then be understanding when it has to shut down temporarily.

No. They’ve tried communicating before and players lose their absolute minds still. They’re damned if they do damned if they don’t so they might as well not.
