Hello guys,
I’ve decided that I’ll be maining warlock this coming expansion! The playstyles, transmog, utlility, and current output seem very appealing. What are you guys most most excited for in DF? what keeps you guys locked into the class? Also, are there any Warlock dicords? havent found one yet, but still looking 
Look up Kalamazi. He does YouTube and discord. He focuses on warlocks and has a lot of good info.
I’ll probably play demo. I like being a puppet master.

That the disaster that was SL, is finally over.
Playstyle, thematics, I dislike melee and Warlock is the only caster I enjoy.
When I first started WoW many years ago, it asked if I wanted to be a winner, I clicked yes and it gave me Warlock.

The lock discord is ok once you learn that like… 99% of the people in there are absolute monkeys and you need to ignore what they say. I remember some dude with a dog picture in the Destro one regurgitating awful, inaccurate info to people for months and then getting confrontational about it.

Can’t say I remember the name but if you have someone in mind, that’s telling enough. I haven’t looked in there in 6+ months.
It’s like the employees I have managed in IT, esp in help desk roles. I get that people asking the same questions over and over can wear people down, but at a certain point, the employees also need to be self aware enough when they’re coming off as condescending. Even more so when they’re feeding you bad intel while looking down on you. It’s a thankless ‘job’, don’t get me wrong, but it’s important to reflect and evaluate ourselves as potential resources that people look to.

Yea some act this way and it’s rude and unnecessary but the servers are still good resources. Others are generally quick to help. It’s also very easy to use the search feature in discord to see if your question has already been answered. I get most of my answers just through a quick search.
To be fair, the Warlock discord is not a job, it’s a community. While yes a certain etiquette should be maintained, you have to keep in mind that some advices there are opinions, not facts, unless they’re backed by data or an authority on the matter (ex : a multi glad giving PvP advices)

I don’t expect any sort of quality control from a community, as that’s not in scope at all. You are correct that you’re getting opinions and they should be treated as such. My commentary stems from where I see that type of behavior frequently.
Can the warlock discord be a useful resource for someone? Absolutely.
But, as it stands right now, it’s safe to assume anyone in there without a colored name or named Malacath is actively hindering you. Would I, based on anecdotal experiences of myself and other warlock players I’ve befriended, recommend the lock discord? Absolutely not. You can use it, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it.
Warlock discord is bottom tier community for sure but there is a lot of good info there in the appropriate channels.

better off to find answers from streamers, or youtube videos, Maldiva answers questions all the time.
Avoid the discord like its the plague. they are noob traps. toxic people with below mediocre help. most of them are 1600 players too
