Mine seems to be OK after going into the battle.net settings > App > On the startup section clicked “Clear Saved Login Info” I had to input my credentials once again but closed the app again and reopen it and didn’t ask me for my password anymore. Gotta test restarting the PC, but so far so good.

Just happened to me again a few moments ago after DC’ing me first
My best guess is that they are trolling a large dragnet to weed out account sharers, botters, multiboxers(to annoy/discourage them). Also, a lot of Bnet accounts are likely going to be playing D4 when it launches in a couple weeks, so it’s probably some preemptive anti-botting counter-measures that they are either putting in place or them testing out before the launch; to help with server load mitigation and to minimize queues.
What if this had happened in 2009 during the height of WOTLK? Hell to pay. Constant posts and updates. lol.

But dear lord…acknowledge an issue once in a while. Who would ever buy this company’s stock?!

I will get logged out mid game because of this. It tells me I was dropped because I ticked the keep me logged in button.

I have the same issues… going from logging in every few months to 3 or so times a day isn’t fun

Well the internet is almost an entirely different ecosphere of chaos these days; 14 years later… Instead, back in those days, you got hit with days and days of queues, rubber-banding, roll-backs, server crashes, etc. The difference now is that you can actually refund games reliably…
With all the recent game related drama lately, I don’t blame Blizzard for wanting to try to actually nail the landing on a massive title coming out, in terms of server stability and queue times. So if it means making people log back into Battlenet here and there(thankfully without having to use the authenticator every time), then so be it. I know I’ll be trying to day1 D4 and if this currently inconvenient login problem is an indicator of them prepping for what I was talking about, then I look forward to it…
I’ve gotten kicked out of bnet three times today myself
Thank God this wasn’t only me, the mobile authenticator seems to be going off way more too even from the same computer.

We have opened an investigation for this issue. Hopefully it will be fixed up soon so the workaround isn’t needed anymore.
