If you don’t want to compromise settings or FPS then head over to: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx and download 457.30 (https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/166627/en-us) and install that one. Don’t install new ones until the issue is resolved.
I had to reinstall GeForce Experience found here https://us.download.nvidia.com/GFE/GFEClient/3.20.5.70/GeForce_Experience_v3.20.5.70.exe -probably because I selected the driver only option during install. Just select the driver + experience option.
