Same. Sucks.
ya gets to loadscreen then just shuts down the game and doesnt say anything. cant log onto one of my chars
If you bypass the launcher and go to the app in finder the only difference is you get a black screen with the gauntlet hand for mouse cursor before it crashes
Having this same issue. Sad & relieved to hear Iâm not the only one. Fingers crossed it gets resolved soon.
I did fresh install. Even changed my password⊠nothing. Over 300 comments in another thread (wonât let me link)⊠MAC users are screwed
That is true⊠Ive been trying log in for 7 hours- fresh install and tried everything.
Just want to add my voice. Same problem playing on Mac. A black screen pops up for about 1 second, then disappears and I get an error message.
Yep, Myself also. Since the patch. I canât play on MacBook. Game keeps crashing out from client or Icon. Error message :5283D84E-F205-4C07-A75A-329A3ACCBAC2
Same thing. Incredibly frustrating. Thinking about all the daily rewards and progress I wouldâve been getting had I been able to log in and play.
Same. Ugh. So bummed
So is Blizzard or Mac workin on this/.Or is everyone screwed
Same issue here. Hit play, screen goes immediately back to log in screen, then goes blank with error message popping up.
Same here. I did every recommended âfixâ and nothing. Simply unable to launch game. Get a super annoying yellow triangle with an exclamation point shaking furiously at me with a useless code. Blizzard seems preoccupied with personnel drama atm, but they should let the tech support people get back to work.
someone answered in this thread. theyâre aware but no timeframe Iâm aware of.
upon launch:
âThe application encountered an unexpected error.â
boot to desktop.

Still not fixed. I put in a ticket this morning and just got a very UNHELPFUL and automated bunch of text. Seriously, why Blizzard? Why wasnât this better tested before you made the patch live? Please get this fixed. We miss our WOW friends and events! Please post some type of HELPFUL update instead of sending automated nonsense.
Same problem.
Then I upgraded my macOS from 11.3.2 to 12.6.3 and solved it.
