I have a late 2015 MAC. I downloaded Monterey and now I’m in. Nothing was deleted and it actually looks good and feels smoother. But there will come a time when even that OS won’t be supported. I think a lot of us with either have to buy newer MACS or switched to Windows…
Just cancled my sub and deinstalled…bye lads and gents, had a great time.

Will your iMac allow / permit you too update to Monterey ? I see a few people mention they have done this, and now back into the game.
I downloaded the update this morning, hopeful. To my dismay, still nothing…I am assuming blizzard does not work nights/weekends…so today is our last chance to not be robbed of two weeks’ vaults and tier for a game we are actively paying for…ROLL OUT THE FIX since you know what it is!! Do any of us really care about some cosmetics being invisible or looking funny to us?! Compared to missing out on getting ahead in our preferred game modes? Clearly they are having this problem worldwide, on macs and on pcs…just fix the damn thing or roll back the parts of the patch that are busted!!! I actually can’t believe this took more than a day, I am at a loss for words regarding how I feel right now…maybe neglected and betrayed are apt…

what literal junk of a development team we have… would’ve been nice to test or revert the patch so the rest of us can make use out of our paying game time… or are you apes going to compensate us a free month along with double vault rewards? actual dog water of a game

Big Sur 11.7.3 is the latest I can go as far as a Mac update. The game was fine Monday night on my Mac running on its version. Its definitely the wow patch that broke the game for me and upgrading my Mac version to latest has not helped.

I was considering upgrading to Monterey until I read this. Not going to ruin my day if it’s not going to work anyway.

Anyone running one of the new Mac Minis? Is there graphics capability good enough to run WoW? The new iMacs only go up to 21.5" and that’s just too small for me.

Over 14 years of playing Wow and this is the most disappointing let down yet, sure I understand the tech world and how nothing is supported for ever, but I really did pay attention to minimum spec levels for my Mac before I went ahead and spent $200 for both of my accounts upgrades and yes I am planing on buying a new used Mac really soon, but what’s struck me as super disappointing is the long silent waiting, and what only 3 blue post? Thanks to “Omegal” for giving us what little info there is.

all this is BS, the blue is absent from giving updates, and that guy in the green letter. How can you say he is really telling the actual genuine true plus is the blue jobs to give updates not him!
Praying for a fix this morning. I have the day off and my wife is busy. Let’s get our grind on people.
The “guy in green” helps out on these forums all the time. They work with the forum blues and get information from them. Be frustrated at the right people, he has information we don’t and he’s been more helpful then anyone.

i wouldn’t really say he has the info we don’t… the game doesn’t work, we know that… we also all have the same crash… we know that… Blizzard hasn’t done anything to fix it… we also know that. its friday, the game worked monday, we all know that.

2014 Mac still crashing
While we’re hear… my Mac runs out of battery while plugged in charging and playing… anyone have an idea why?
