[Main Thread] Crashes on launch after maintenance Jan 24th

Hey Jerk… are you guys going to give us a complimentary 1 month sub for your mess ups ? This is ridic…

not everyones computers/laptops can be updated to that… nor would we want too.

Any update or ETA? It’s the not knowing anything for 24hrs that sucks.

You really think the Blizzard customer support agent has any control over this? Calm down dude get some fresh air for a bit

MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
2.4 Ghz 8-Core Intel Core i9
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 Gb
11.3.1 - Big Sur

This only works for a very small subset of Mac users that have a Mac with a Metal 3 supported GPU. For literally anyone else, you do not want to install Ventura or else you’ll be hit with the Metal 2 memory leak.

Considering he interacts with the clowns that do this every single patch… yes.

So it doesn’t work on my 2014 iMac with Big Sur but on my wife’s Mac book pro its does.
Apple M1 Pro
Ventura 13.0.1

Do you see “Developer” under Kershew’s name? No? Then they aren’t in control of the situation. All they can do is pass along feedback from this and other threads. They’re a Support Forum Agent (SFA), not one of the developers.

That’s because M-Series Macs can run Ventura without the memory leak. Your 2014 iMac cannot. They’re two entirely different machines, and in fact two different architectures.

That’s the sad part hope Blizzard gets this issue fixed for all MacOs users

then they can pass that feedback to them. (:

well its not the mac devs that credit lost game time… thats in the customer service toolkit

I dont care if its the janitor cleaning the floors, or the CEO smoking doobies on his yacht… they should do something about it for releasing garbage that wasn’t properly tested. 30 Hours and still no update.

Do we even know what the problem is that’s causing this?

Seems there is some speculation that any os older than Ventura won’t run WoW anymore. But Ventura is packed with issues and there is no way I’m installing that just for WoW.

Mac users always get the shaft on updates, killing all of our time trying to repair and fix our computers with no messages or notifications on battle net, why? why not post it on battle net so I didn’t reinstall the program 3 times creating more issues/copies and overlays before i finally found this post… wow
