Hahaha I just want play cod, but can’t till they fix this. I try to find the cod launcher and it still requires battlenet to work… So waiting game I guess.

Continuing the discussion from Main Thread - Blizzard Agent went to sleep:
You can use the WOW software in wow folder to log in to the game. Do not use battle.net launcher. I will similar issue too.

Same problem, In fact i was playing on my mac and the game made my entire computer crash. since it forced a restart, blizzard agent says it went to sleep
Ok the workaround worked for me, took me right to the log in screen so all I had to do was put it my password.

That works to get battle net to start up at all again, thanks.
However, it still thinks, no games are installed, and it can’t find them … neither by pointing directly to the game folder nor by scanning the disk for games.

Tried to launch from .exe. Didn’t work.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Battle.net. Didn’t work.
Uninstalled WoW Classic, then Battle.net. Reinstalled Battle.net and now I can’t install WoW Classic.
Literally deleted all the folders that could have anything to do with either battle.net or WoW, did a PC-wide search for folders and files with Blizzard, battle.net and warcraft and deleted them all permanently. That includes program files and appdata. Reinstalled Battle.net app. Still can’t Install WoW Classic.
Tried to uninstall battle.net AGAIN, but now I can’t even uninstall it.
What a joke of a mess, my god…

Same issue on 3 PC’s. Don’t try to reinstall. It’s Blizz Launcher, not your machine. Just find the Wow.exe in your game folder, use it, log in.
It let me install it and I logged in, but says client is asleep trying to wake up. It also says I have a update, but only shows waiting. Lord I thought it was only me
Blizzard being absolutely worthless like they always are
Ugh… It’s not even letting me reinstall. It’s been stuck on ‘updating blizzard agent’ for 30 mins now. smh

In 2006 all I had to do to solve literally every issue with WoW was delete the WTF and Interface folders.

Even if I launch the game directly, it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I even tried changing my password to be sure, just can’t log in =(

I am having the same issue Launcher wont wake up.
I did managed to open world of warcraft by using the wow.exe in the retail folder.
Still doesn’t solve the launcher problem though.
I tried the potential fix mentioned above but it created more problems for me. It’s stuck on updating.

This helped. Make sure to use Task Manager to fully close Battle.net and the Agent.exe processes before attempting it again.
