I started having loading screen problems since Friday.
The game gets perma-stuck at around 80% most of the time. Loading last is fine, but my main character is stuck, and I haven’t been able to log for the last 30 min.
Let me guess you’re probably on WaveBroadband? Seems alot of people are having the same issue myself included.
Contact Wave if that is your ISP and let them know you are having the same issue. Point out the thread below:
Using a VPN, plenty of recommendations in the thread I linked is a temporary workaround.
I am on wave broadband. Three different people with their own accounts. None of us can log into Duskwood or Bloodhoof which is my husband’s main realm. The game won’t even load to where you see the character list. WRA however loads just fine. No latency whatsoever on WRA so I am confused as to how this is just a wave issue.
Don’t bother using the Bnet repair tool either…
Now I have 2 problems that weren’t there yesterday.
Are you on WAVE Broadband? If so, use a VPN to access the game. It’s an ISP issue, not your game.
I’m not :-/
And I have new problem. Battle Net app won’t update.
Where to go form here?
This worked for us, also on wave.
Have you restarted your machine?
Reinstalled Bnet?
Are you running the beta version of Bnet, if so, go back to the “release” version.
You might have to uninstall and try again or update you drivers.
Everything was working fine this morning, except for my loading bar screen getting stuck on my main in Shadowlands.
I ran the update / fix tool in Battle net, just I have done so in past without any issues.
I’m using whatever the current commercial version is, don’t know why I would have a Beta version tbh.
When I re-install the app, it detects wow and proceeds to do an update. THAT update gets an error. Over and over.
