Main Spec loot role bug?

I set my loot to Guardian, defeated the boss with an item I needed… and the game still said I was rolling “off spec”

So is this a bug or do you actually not let me roll on guardian loot when I want to become a tank… and I am willing to pass on resto gear for guardian by choosing guardian loot choice… and why even offer me the choice if you’re not going to honor my choice?!!a

Just for the sake of a useful bug report, what was the specific item you are talking about here? It may be that the devs accidentally (or intentionally) marked the item for another spec, but we can’t know that until we know that until we know what item it was.
