Mailing Restrictions Again

Hi. So…yeah…I learned a small annoying thing this evening, and I know, it’s been brought up before; Mailing restrictions.

I can see not mailing cross server. I get that.

I can see Alliance players not mailing separate Horde players, and vice versa. I definitely get that one.

But If I’m Alliance and decide to roll a Horde character and think “I’ll throw this new character some bags and maybe some gold”. I should most definitely be able to do that. Not get stopped by "Target is Unfriendly"

I am not unfriendly to myself. Maybe some people are, and if so, there’s help for that. But me, myself and I, we’re perfectly fine in each other’s company.

The heirlooms my Horde dude can put on was earned by an Alliance character.
The transmogs my Horde dude has access to was earned by an Alliance character.

But I can’t help myself out by sending myself some gold and some bags like I can all my other alts because that new character is the opposite faction?? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

BS play called. BS flag thrown down. :poop: :black_flag:

Welcome to World of Altcraft. It’s always been this way; the only items you can send cross-faction are account bound items.

So I’ve learned. I’ve been around this game long enough to remember that you couldn’t have two opposite faction characters on a PVP server. At one point that was lifted way before the whole Warmode thing.

I guess I figured since they changed up all that then a player shouldn’t have any issues mailing stuff to oneself regardless of the faction they choose to play on. I thought wrong. Still…I mean… c’mon…why??
