Before this Pre-patch 10.0, I would get a summary of gold received in the chat box after opening all mail. I no longer get a summary of the gold in the chat box. Any help would be appreciated.
It was probably from an addon which is now broken. I know Postal is what did that for me, it was updated about 4 hours ago, so might check it.
Interesting but I wasn’t using Postal. I only have TomTom addon.
No, I agree with OP - I was not using an addon that did this. Before 10.0 I would get summary, now I do not. Most likely addon that COULD have done it is Auctionator? But I’m still using that addon.

I’m having the same issue. I use the same addons, actually less, on this character than I do on any of my others and I’ve tried disabling addons. Still no chat notification about gold received from mail.
There is a box under chat settings, in ‘Other’ that says Money Loot. I’ve made sure that is checked and still no notification.
