I think this is a bug. I keep getting notifications that I have items in my mailbox but when I check I don’t have anything and then the mail icon goes away. Others have told me they have the same issue and it’s a recent 9.2 patch issue I think.

I have been experiencing this issue since before the patch. Ive tried disabling addons, clearing cache, different toons…all to no avail. Icon always reads “unread mail from auction house”

I’ve had it before 9.2, but since 9.2 it’s a bit more accute. Definitely encounter it more on my AH toon.

I have an unread mail icon that says its from “blue”. Cant find the old bug report but ive deleted folders, renamed cache, interface, WTF, logged in an out a bajillion times and after trying everything per the GM was sent to the bug reports which it seems hasnt been resolved… so do we just live with this stupid icon torturing us? Had anyone found a fix?
