Before I make a ticket I want to report this here because this is potentially a huge glitch.
I logged back in from being AFK - I noticed a mail icon by my characters name in character selection - neat little new 9.1.5 thing. I’m sure its just my Korthite Crystals being sold in AH.
I log in, mail icon is on my minimap, hover over with mouse and it indeed says its from Auction House.
I click on my mail box - completely empty, even my previous messages I had in there are gone.
Thinking it could be ElvUI - I disengaged ElvUI so that I had the Blizzard skin – still completely empty – in fact, deleted, seeing as how all my previous messages are gone.
Edit: also want to mention that Open All does nothing, nothing is received.
Edit 2: Did additional testing
The loot of Korthia bosses that had purposely been forgotten arrived to my mailbox successfully.
Items purchased from AH arrived to my mail box successfully.
Gold from auctions sold by me, during this occurence and in the present, do not arrive to my mailbox.
Edit 11/6/2021: They are currently offerring a temporary solution, but there is not a solid fix yet. Every weekly reset, those of us affected by the mailbox AH glitch, will receive our missing mail. The aim is to have it fixed permenantly by next reset.
I also have this issue, only started today since 9.1.5 - I have a mail icon on my character screen and also in game via the minimap, yet checking a mailbox, there is nothing.
I have /reload, disabled addons and reset the interface but still nothing.
I suspect its a server issue but sharing my diminished experience here in the hope something can be checked on Activision Blizzards end.
just wanted to add on to this. I noticed I had a mail icon pop up while in game, checked the mail box, no mail. I got on my bruto and checked my auctions (id just cleared my mail out and relisted) and 2 things had sold, once id checked my auction data the mail icon went away.
Id suspect its prompting the new mail icon once an item has sold, rather than once the coin has actually reached the mail.
Yeah, it’s an ongoing investigation. They replied to my ticket a few hours I submitted it, and they attached an active article of theirs about this glitch. It’ll get resolved soon, I’m sure.
Items are definitely missing. I am holding all my items right now till they fix this issue. If you try and sell right now on the AH you can potentially lose w.e mail there is there.
