I was playing a Druid and when I tried to equip a piece of Mail armor, my character said, “I can’t use that yet,” and Druids cannot EVER use Mail armor.
And, what would be the bug?
Druids wear Leather. Not Mail, not Plate. And Cloth, though wearable, is not appropriate for the class, and you’ll incur serious performance penalties.
So nothing you’ve described is any kind of error.
The message should have been “I will never be able to use that”. The “I can’t use that yet” is a relic from the time when a hunter or shaman started as a leather wearer and moved up to mail at level 40. It’s definitely a bug, but it’s been happening to druids since at least level scaling.
