I currently have 2 of 3 Magus of the Dead traits, was looking to get a 3rd. However i noticed when i summon abomb/apoc i’m only get one Magus per (for a total of 2). Do these not stack? (I mean obv it’s not but i wasn’t sure if this is a bug or they changed it?)
Is it useless to have more than 1?
This is important for me as i like to use Necro’s Bargain for PVP and was hoping to get 3 Magus per use if i have 3 traits.
he does 3X the damage with 3 traits, but you can only have 2 up at a time.
this depends on what you are using it for, if you are using it as a damage source, then yes, you want 2-3. if you are using it as an auto-slow that comes with apoc, then 1 is enough.
imo think the trait is overated. Its good for sure, and should atleast have one of them (for pvp). But u dont “need” it, hellchains is just about as good.
Also btw I do not think necros bargain is very good. Ive tried using it many times and never seems worth it. Transfusion is always good (not as good if ur not the kill target) so if u want to go damage just take necrotic aura.
I like it in 2s with healer/dps with castable heals, turn it off for stuff like rsham or rogue/mage etc for nec aura.
Haven’t really messed with hel chains, i thought it was more for pve and i pve as blood. I’ll give it a try and see how it works.
I have two Magnus traits activated but when I summon Apocolypse, it only summons one Magnus. Any idea ?
I can only see one Magnus even when I have two traits for it so idk whats going on?
because it summons 1 magus but will do *2 damage, if you summon the abomination (pvp talent) or army of the dead it would summon a 2nd one

Would you rank Heart of Darkness higher in azerite powers over Magnus of dead if you have corruption over 25?
no because magnus is the best trait you can get along festering might, if you have neither of them, then sure heart of darkness can be useful
Oh dang I didn’t know that! Alright I’ll switch back to the Magnus X2 trait asap. Should I equip the trait that makes the Magnus proc more and reduce apocalypse CD as my main azerite essence? Right now I have Cruscible of Flame rank 4 as my main.

Alright so I’ll equip vision of perfection as my major with 2 Magnus traits instead of these Heart of Darkness azerite traits that I have quipped now.
Edit: What about Heart of Darkness vs Harrowing Decay? Idk if this azerite power scaling add on is worth paying attention to for overall points. Nvm, I went with Harrowing Decay over heart of darkness.
HoD is generally considered number 3 in terms of power I’d say. Just make sure you have the corruption to activate it!
Can someone tell me how to unlock Expedient from Mother? I cant see it when I go to buy stuff.
I have a plus 66 corruption right now with Mind Flays and I dont think its a top tier corruption trait and would like to have Expedient.
Nvm I found this " Corruptions now can be [purchased from MOTHER] using [![] Echoes of Ny’alotha] Every few days, a new set of Corruptions will be accessible
Expedient isn’t on the vendor right now. It won’t be till Tuesday and it’ll only be rank 2

Stacking Magus of the Undead increases the quality of the Magus, not the quantity.
Expedient 3 will be back on July 14th (it was just up, and went away last Fri)
Expedient 2 will be up on Fri June 26 this week.
Expedient 1 will be up on Tue June 30 a week from today
They scale ridiculously well with haste for single target DPS.
