Magni quests bugged?

so i hit 120, then server transferred to be on a realm with a buddy. when the server transfer completed, i went to silithus to do the questline that upgrades my neck ilvl, but there was nothing there?

when i click on magni he just opens the vendor page, he has no quest, theres nothing inside the heart forge area. idk, kinda sucks being almost 380 ilvl with a 290 neck do i have to do nazjatar intro maybe?

every other time i’ve done these empowering quests, i just went into silithus and the quest was there, but this was before 8.2 so idk if nazjatar has any effect or if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Cross Server HoA ilvl Increase?

It has changed. We don’t know if it was intended but the change has survived a couple of hotfix patches so it is likely that it is. You now need to run through the Nazjatar opening quests at least as far as unlocking the Heart Forge, and then you get your +45 ilvls in addition to a free bump of the neck level to 36 and an extra +10 ilvl for your trouble. It is such a massive upgrade for a new 120 that it is worth taking the time to do again.

right on. thats fair, im going to be doing naz anyways. how long does it take to unlock heart forge? i honestly dont remember

Pretty fast. Start chain at the boat, cinematic you can skip, follow the bouncing quest location for a bit, 3 quick kill quests, more follow the location and you are in Naz base. Then you get sent to Magni, then to Highmountain for another kill quest (a little harder, and probably the only tricky part for a new 120), then back to Magni and you are done.

Of course worth going a little further since you then immediately get a free 400 piece too back in Naz.

Yeah i realized about 5 minutes after i typed that how easy it was thanks again! Got my neck and it was instantly over 400 instead of 340 or whatever it used to be.
