Did I waste my mats making this? I’ve completed 8 missions with it equipped so far, and not a single ore returned.

There was a risk it might have been useful.

( I think that we came very close to not having a mission table at all and there was, understandably, a desire to make sure that if they added one that it not come across as so useful people would feel forced to use it )

I get monelite on a pretty regular basis, but I have it on both of the followers with mission duration reduction. It’s not great, but none of the follower items really are.

I have 4 Followers equipped with Platinum Whetstone & Magnetic Mining Pick.
The Whetstone works great however I have not received a SINGLE ORE from the Mining Pick equipment. I have done enough missions to get all followers to Legendary (Maximum Level).

the mission table is awful, the equipment and followers are boring, would it have killed them to make the boat bigger and actually put like a pirate crew in there or something who could sell us equipment that doesn’t suck.

I grinded out 45 Expulsom for a Potion of Herb Tracking and Magnetic Mining Pick and all I got was a powerful incentive to cancel my subscription.

As much as most of us cuss at WoD, I think its mission incentives and system were far better.

For one thing, you could have up to (if I recall correctly) 20 Mission followers. You levelled them up and as they levelled they became better at the mission tables. You could equip them with items you earned through various means which helped them do things like give you double resources earned from a mission. You could train some of them to go out with you into the world to help you. You even had an epic Follower (Garona) who was particularly strong and took some effort to gain. You could earn gear, mounts, all kinds of neat stuff from your mission table.

Mission tables this time around are a rather epic fail. Half the time I don’t even bother to check them out, unless Im grinding for rep (which I hate -this- much).

I really don’t know how the developer’s minds are working for this expansion. It seems like almost every part of it has been dumbed down, reduced in effect, made less interesting or had all the challenge removed from it.

i have a toon with the gem gathering follower equipment.

…i don’t think i’ve seen a gem in several months =/

the mission tables made to much gold in WoD & Legion , Blizzard didnt want that mistake again in BFA , cannt blame them :slight_smile:
