However the tauren heritage is pushing me to say tauren.

Keep in mind whichever you choose that only the race who owns the heritage armor will have the ability to wear it!
Meaning fel orcs can’t wear Mag’har heritage. Same goes for all the other ones.

It’s kinda weird, I’ve been horde since vanilla but I’ve never really liked male or female orc anythings even though my warlock initially started out as one…
Fem Tauren, we could never have enough of those.
I really like the HM racial trample. Having a stun with mobility is very nice.

I went with Mag’har orc for shaman and high moo for guardian druid.
With two choices this good, it’s best to flip a coin.
However I will say this: not everyone enjoys how big taurens are. You will (rarely) run into a door jam and running on foot feels slower. If that kind of stuff doesn’t bother you, find a coin and flip it.

The Bull Rush (or whatever it’s called) racial for HMT is amazing for Enhancement. Provides a much needed gap closer in addition to the stun.
Both nail the shaman theme perfectly. Can’t really go wrong with either. If you choose mag’har you can have fun with choosing different orc clan customizations like laughing skull, frostwolf, blackrock, etc.
Highmountain have an awesome heritage armor that flows better with the shaman theme imo. The mag’har heritage seems more warrior’ish to me.
