Mag'har and the Light

I know that lore wise a Mag'har priest is a Shadowmoon Orc or trained by one that uses the power of the Void.
However could it be possible for a Mag'har Orc to either believe in the Light truly, since they had 30 or so years integrating with Draenei culture.
Or would a Light using Mag'har be more akin to BC Blood elves where they are using the Light more as a weapon than a religion?

Just kinda curious as to where non shadow priest Mag'har fit in, if at all.
Mag'har holy priests walk around wearing Che Guevera style shirts with Lightforged Garrosh on them.

Most Mag'har wish they'd been left behind, but they did result in a great deal of "Haters gonna hate" meme flyers around Orgrimmar.

Yes, but they'd have to keep it secret from their fellows because I have zero doubt that they would consider them a Lightbound convert and would execute them.
Its reasonably possible that an Orc could have learned light from the Draenei, but defected back to the Mag'har when things started going south.

The Blood Elves could use light without faith because they were draining it from a Naaru. Otherwise, light requires faith to use so a hypothetical light using Orc would probably need to be a true believer, though whether it be in the light, the naaru, or something else it doesn't really matter.

This made me laugh out WAY more than it should have, thank you :)
K'ara was redeemed in the WoD timeline that the Mag'har are from. That could've been a real "come to naaru" moment for the Shadowmoon, even without learning Light worship directly from the Draenei.

It's up to you how you'd work around having your character not join the Lightforged.

The interesting part would be that an orc character loyal to the Mag'har wielding the Light would be, to them, the equivalent of Warlocks in the MU fighting the Legion or Shadow Priests fighting the Old Gods.

There’s a bit more to the lightforging/lightbinding process than just wielding the light. There’s also a whole associated ideology. I’m guessing light-wielding Mag’har wouldn’t be popular, but unless we have some evidence of it I’m not convinced they would be executing them.

They’re specifically and vocally bigoted against Draenei, not the Light. It’s one of the only realistic depictions of intractable hatred in an expansion that was meant to be full of them...
