What I don’t understand is how these two are comparable at all. Even if I think a mage soloing WC is pretty insane at this level, im not going to pretend that this hasn’t been mage all of classic.

Last week: “hunters solo bosses with their pets, nerf them”
This week: “mages solo entire dungeons at once, nerf them”
Mage: “i dont see how thats comparable”

Show me where a hunter pet can solo the first raid boss in bfd so i can get some pointers.
The difference is soloing WC as mage takes a lot of gear, skill, and buffs to pull off properly, and in addition to that it doesn’t have much practical use? You’re not going to get rich farming WC mobs, so the only actual benefit to being able to solo WC is selling boosts which doesn’t seem like a big issue to me? Maybe other people care more, but selling boosts when the level cap is 25 is a joke. Hunters will remain the untouched kings of PVE Dps without needing any skill or gear to perform - Other classes can’t even remotely compete with hunters until they actually start getting raid gear.

Show me a pre raid warrior that can out dps a pre raid hunter, it can’t be done. No class even remotely touches pre raid hunter

Literally why, who cares about what is doing good damage pre-raid.
And that was true for BFD but now that everyone has that gear, i would not he surprised if warriors crank day 1 in gnomer
Warriors are, have been, and always will be gear dependent. its why their TOP DPS in Nax

Meanwhile hunters are soloing mobs in RFK and skull level mobs.
You deserved a nerf on hunter.
Mages have always been able to make large solo pulls. What matters, though, is not solo pulling but how you perform grouped with someone else. 
Hunter got nerfed because your pet was better than like half the classes in the game at PVP.
and mage solo requires good gear, consumes, and hours of practice. I solo’d WC at level 19 on my hunter for leggings of the fang and 6agi skum cloak.
Why do we care about AOE farming low level dungeons?

because the hunter players need to cry about how their pet was singlehandedly better than almost every class in the game by a massive margin.
They didn’t understand the hunter was the pet, the pet was the class.
Hunter tears are truly the best. The irrational lashing out when their clearly busted class gets realigned is amazing. Then you have priests, who were also “fixed” and its a shadow of the complaints of hunters.
Mages soloing dungeons isn’t something new, exists in the mechanics of the class. Hunters have solod elite quests, dungeons, and content way above their level for ages due to class mechanics as well. So thats perfectly ok right?
Any hunter who looks at their pet soloing BFD geared classes 1v1 and unironically whines about getting nerfed should be locked in cages because they are a detriment to society with their obscene lack of critical thinking.
