Mages should have Force-Lightning

Yes Mages should have Force-Lightning! Better known in Wow as Chain-Lightning. And not the weak Chain-Lightning that Shaman have. And Definitely not the piddling lightning that
Monks Have. But Big WTF impressive Multi-target Hit all targets in sight and make them cry hard hitting Force-Lightning that would make Emperor Palpatine Cry in envy.

Lets face it: the only Mage Spec that has some impressive Casting Power and visual effects is the Fire Mage. I’m not even gonna mention the two other specs. Except to say that perhaps the Elemental Mage should get the new Force Lightning power; Well Lightning is Elemental right who better to get the new Elemental Power right! Then the Elemental Mage. Right!

So to differentiate between SW and Wow, Lets call it Mage In Your Face Multi-Lightning With A Vengeance!

Imagine it; the Mage won’t need any other spells. He/she can just throw forward their hands and fire a big multi-stream mass of lightning bolts that electrocute all enemies in front of the mage. And for Mother’s Sake make sure it freaking Stuns all it hits.

And then you come up against the equivalent of Mace Windu and get your butt served up on a platter.

Like I said that’s the only spell the mage needs we can effectively disregard all other spells.

I like idea! That would be convenient, lots of specs have rotations with too much stuff in them now or too many cds, but the more I can get rid, the better!

Shamans Chain Lightning with Stormkeeper and their elemental overload proc, also with storm elemental up

It already exists, go play elemental shaman

Shaman’s Chain-Lightning Looks good, but does little damage = Waste of time. You go play Mario Brothers.

Thallia…I have played Old Republic, it is good…but not as good as Wow. :slight_smile: Although great Force Lightning.

One of the best elemental shamans on Warcraft logs, his lighting bolt and chain lighting are top hitting abilities he used in that fight in The Nine

So we have that already what you wanted. Go play elemental shaman

Thunderçatz: Oh dear Shaman can keep their mediocre Chain-lightning while Mages will have the more powerful and impressive Force-Lightning. Thank you.

PS: By the way I got a good feeling for what powerful Chain lightning can be. Back before Level Scaling was active. I was playing my level 75 Shaman in a dungeon finder group. I used my chain lightning and killed all the mobs in one shot. I was so happy. But since level scaling has been active, my shaman’s chain lightning doesn’t do any where near that type of damage now. And that’s why I want Big Powerful Force-Lightning.
