This could be a new mage tower reward for mages.
Correct me if i’m wrong, but isn’t part of the reason Khadgar can turn to a raven is from his staff? Unless we get the option to get that staff again idk if blizz would do this.
Which sucks cuz i’d kill for my pandaren mage to have both that staff and be able to turn into a raven
Shouldn’t have to rely on a piece of gear to do it.
Make it the same way as druids.
Great roll a Druid. Want to be a bird roll a Druid.
The troll is weak in this one.
Not really a troll. Just doesn’t make sense to add something another class already has.
They added glyphs for druids to turn into ravens.
Yup, it’s because of his staff that he can turn into a bird.
But back in Vanilla when the player could actually get the staff after a long quest they just had ravens fly around them. I think the quest is available on Classic.
I think it’s justified by the lore the Raven flight form.
Not asking for the rest of the abilities like being a bear a cat or a deer.
Giving the mage the option isn’t going to make or break the game just add a bit of fun.
It kind of is though we are taking away things that are unique for druids.
I’ll trade my Druid’s raven form to Mages for the ability to transform into any of our collected mounts.
Mages do have a raven form, you just have to become the guardian of tirisfall.
You ARE the guardian of tirisfall aren’t you?
You’re right, Mages aren’t given enough.

I could never Bring myself to do the long grind just to get that staff in classic.
Unless…
If you collect items in classic now that are no longer available in retail, do you get the appearance of those items unlocked in retail?
I might think of suffering through playing some inferior non-panndaren race in classic if i can start unlocking appearances for my pandaren in retail.
But, that’s how the Raven form works for the guardian mage. You might as well be saying we shouldn’t have to rely on a class to use two-handers. If you want to transform into a Raven, play a Druid. There’s nothing else to say on the matter.
Sadly nope. They’re treated as two separate games so you can’t carry items from Classic to Retail.
Unless it’s a store mount then everything’s fine.
Lame. Blizz no fun allowed strikes again.
