Hey, they tried taking away shimmer charges in Slands, but you know, venruki and xaryu complained enough that they reverted it. So ridiculous imo.

idk somehow mages every expansion before shimmer “made it work” i know it’s hard imaging blink while casting being removed i’m sure ur class will be unplayable
we had other tools and other classes weren’t in the game.

Nice strawman, never said we couldn’t deal with rets. How about DH/Rogue/Warrior/Monk/DK? Even ret isn’t the easiest to kite as fire. They horsey to you, and you’re forced to blink away. Back in the day ret didn’t even have horse. Now they do.

In TBC/Classic you had no mobility iirc. And even then, we lost deep freeze in the mid expansions we had. Sorry but shimmer is necessary with todays meta.
