Mages are good in dungeons but won’t translate to raids. They are doing less dps than shadow priests in raid.

If you are rolling a mage for a raid spot you may be surprised when you don’t get that spot.
Also, mages can’t farm dungeons solo because they will have anti-boosting tech in them.
No reason to play mage except to level slightly faster in dungeons. Unless you just like mage.
Mages may be OKish in PVP.
I was killing Mirefin Murlocs in Duskwallow Marsh. Taking it slow, pulling one or two at a time. Almost died to a pack of 3. Sat down to drink and a pair of mages strolled in, pulled the entire camp of 10-15 mobs and killed them all while barely taking any damage in return.
I seethe with hatred for how broken mage aoe is. They shouldn’t be able to heal themselves for all the aoe damage they deal. It should be like 1% damage to heal conversion. Every other class struggles except for mage; they just get more and more buffs to their aoe farming. It’s absurd.
Lol get over yourself. Mages have been able to farm those since 2004. They can farm them without the heal with improved blizzard.
How ridiculous man. Sound unhinged.
thats crazy, out of the top 50 players on warcraft logs by damage there are 18 mages and zero shadow priests.
must not translate to raid.
