Monthly reward should be something everyone can use. Not a specific class/spec etc.
Agreed. Or if they want to drop a weapon xmog for monthly reward, have it be a full loadout with swords, 2-hands, daggers, staves, wands, fist weps etc. I know for sure there’s people who don’t even use classes that use 1-hand swords
Had this same thought, kind of debating why get the monthly aside from the tokens if I don’t play a class that uses 1h swords. Wouldn’t mind seeing a full weapon set.
If I have enough tender for the Quiver and maybe one other item I might go screw the bar this month .

Not to mention everything this month seems high in price? If you want the mount, that’s IT. Or even the pet is 600 and it’s just a battle pet…
As a collector I’m not impressed. Or at least give us the chance to earn more than 1k tokens. It just seems like stupid pointless FOMO. And it’s getting old.
Yeah I’ve been debating doing the entire monthly reward. I already barely play thanks to the M+ changes coming in 10.1. Was hoping the post would have a good end reward.
Druids, Priests and Shamans, and even excluding the classes that were, well, excluded from the monthly reward, it’s a pretty weak one compared to the previous rewards.
Agreed. While I would never use that mount…at least I could use it on all of my characters if I wanted too.
I think it was on purpose, to get people to spend their currency… kind of like doing gold sink items to drain gold out once in a while. But the monthly is restrictive and should of been like the 200 or w.e currency.
Meh, there’s always going to be some segment of the WoW pop that can’t (or, even more so, won’t) use the monthly rewards.

the whole point is none of this is gamebreaking end to the world. you just play, and purchase what you like. if you dont like any of it, you can save up and buy something you do like. Dont like the monthly reward? well then dont worry about it, youll probably earn it anyway.
There is a huge difference between can’t and won’t. This is the first month were everyone can’t use the reward…and it is silly to design system with a monthly reward that isnt universally usable.

I still have about 900 after getting the mount and the Quiver/Ammo bag transmog
your loss for not getting all the currency then seems pretty stupid to be so annoyed by a dumb transmog that you wont even spend a day to fill a bar but par for the course around here

The last mount for Tender was a former shop mount, only sharing the rig (afaik) with invincible. This Cloud Serpent is Cloud Serpent #17. 900 (90% of a month) is quite a lot for it.
I already don’t use any of the cloud serpents I have (which is too many already). I don’t want that hideous thing.
