Mage vs warlock vs shadow priest

Which in your opinion is/has:

1: More fun rotation?
2: Is better at pvp?
3: Is better at pve?
4: Has better animations?
5: Better mogs?

I think mages have more fun rotations for sure but honestly nothing beats watching a big fat chaos bolt nail your target

Ok I changed the subject and now I have included shadow priest

SHadow priest: Blue blobs and purple lasers and invisible dot damage.
Mage: Learn to kite but fun
Warlock: GUYS! WAIT! I CANT KEEP UP WITH YOUR REGULAR RUNNING SPEED!

…as it proceeds to lightly singe the opponent at best because Destro is a joke of a spec at the moment.

Thank you, great comments above. Anyone else would like to share an opinion?

I like shadow priest the most of them.

Shadow priest is pretty good here too but they all have good strengths in pvp.

Shadow priest also does well here but I think the right warlock type for your play style can also be very good.

All three.

Warlock.

Mages boring.
Warlocks boring.

Shadow Priests are the superior caster despite their current limitations.

For fun and such, I’d say Shadow Priest or Arcane mage. Fire hits hard and all, but being outside of combustion can feel strange. Arcane somehow doesn’t stop feeling fun to me outside of it, even though fishing for clearcasts is terrible.

So Shadow Priest.

For mogs, I’d say tie as I don’t tend to use tryhard mogs that makes you look like the devil incarnate, so the three can use mostly everything I’d tend to use, casual clothes and such. But I’d lean slightly to mage as it can have mogs that’d look casual + it’s especialization. Priest second and Warlock, well…

With Warlocks and mogs I have a fun time because they are supposed to lay low, yet your see their mogs and you can confuse one with Sargeras. (Same with Rogues who are supposed to be stealthy but their mogs can look more flashy than a Paladin).

Can’t say about the other aspects. Fun is relative, but I like Spriest’s standing in PvE combined with it’s fluidity.

If you like casters, stick with shadow priest and balance druid and you will be happy

Shadow priest all the way

Whatever you do: If you go mage, only learn fire.

Do not play frost or arcane. You’ll be very depressed when you get to endgame. Fire you’ll be very pleased.

What about destro lock?

I think on lock you should only go Afllic.

Affliction is so boring af :frowning:

It’s the only thing that’s viable past a certain point. You can play the others if you want but at a certain point your progress will stop on that character unless you switch. Sad reality in WoW.

I am so disapointed of mage in SL that I cannot recommend it to anyone. Stick with warlock or priest

Anyone else? I AM still not convinced which alt I should play
