I'd be ok with them bringing it back.
The only one I cared about really was druid and I got the Bear and Kitty forms I wanted.
The challenges weren't that difficult if you had gear so I don't understand the "blood, sweat, and tears" players.
Granted, we saw people say that Garrosh having 2 mechanics in the maghar orc unlock scenario was too hard, so it's not too surprising to see them think that the mage tower challenges were super difficult.

Havent they had gear that is unobtainable in later expansions since wrath. Elite pvp gear? T3. Challenge mode. Wods challenege or mythic weapon things. I didnt get all of them but i got them on my DK. Wish i got some of the others tho, but I understand that its gone. Its not a new thing.
I got the two I wanted across my 4 110's. (Hulk bear and disco kitty). If I see that others are cooler, well that's just my fault for not getting the class to 110 and gearing it before the mage tower went away now isnt it? Though from what I saw of DK appearances? I didnt like them.
I forgot about those transmogs 3 minutes after it closed.

Yes, because you couldn't easily outgear it.
I also wish blizzard would bring back the cloak quest line in mists, so some folks can actually get across the broken bridge on the timeless isle to fight the boss. Also the effect the cloak had when wearing it should be mogable to.

Agreed, now, whenever I level a new class I feel like I am missing something and I can never call it "my main" since I din't get theirs mage tower appearance.

Then re-tune them.
Apart from GCD, most classes don't feel that fundamentally different than they did before.

I'd rather they create new Mage Tower-style challenge scenarios with new cosmetic rewards for us later in BfA. Maybe then they can improve upon the poor state of Guardian/Feral post-artifact form customizations.

There are other things that are not attainable. Such as the Legendary cloak, MoP Challenge Reward Gear, etc.
I would like to see them come back but Scaled.

the mage tower was designed for the Legion specs with a full artifact weapon, not for BfA specs with azerite gear and HoA. some of those challenges would be broken (either much harder or much easier) thanks to the BfA changes.

That fight drove me crazy. So crazy that I did it on a second tank immediately after the first one completed it.
And only then did I begin working on the horror that was the healing challenge.
If Mage Tower-style challenges return, I hope there's better parity among the different challenges. Three-minute zerg fest for BM hunter, seven-phase, 20-minute-long tactical strategy challenge for resto druid? ... BALANCED!

Specs and classes have changed since then, mage tower wasn't ever scaled down. Bringing back content from 7 years ago won't be a 1:1 comparison of the original challenge. If people couldn't do the challenges at the time, then they don't deserve to have them.

I agree. To simply remove an xmog because it was attached to an event that they could have easily transitioned is something I'm rather salty about.
In b4 ignorant comments of people who already did the mage towers for their xmog tell us to stop qqing

Blizzard brings them back you'll then want the skins or try to beg them to make different color ones so that it wouldn't insult others who did the challenge at content

6 times i managed to win against him. I HATED WARRIOR so much after that one.
Ya'll had over a year to do it. I'm sorry to anyone who couldn't play the game for an entire year because of some sort of real life restriction but a year is a long time for even the most casual of players to get it.
