Opinions on mage tower as DK?
I followed biceps UH video to great success during the initial release. Frost looked pretty tight on the timer in his video. I watched a blood dk video and made it to phase 2 a couple times but thought UH looked like the easiest of the bunch.
The gear, consumables, gems, etc for the event make a huge difference in player power inside the tower. It’s really worth the effort to farm/buy that stuff if you intend to seriously do it.
If you do a single thing wrong, even the tiniest error as Frost DK you’re dead. Game is horrible. Impossible as Obliteration as well. You’re forced to play cheese BoS to beat it as Frost. Also looking at Biceps video, it seem the adds on the final phase move way faster now and have more HP. Seeing Bicep p’much 1 shot them with his Frost Wrym but mine only getting them to 50% hp is rage inducing.
The worst part about MT for Frost DK’s is how long it takes. Phase 1/2 is horrendously slow… I felt myself drifting off just to get to phase 3. I’ve done it so many effin’ times now I can prob do p1/2 blindfolded.
If you do 1 single thing wrong at the final phase it’s goodnight and you have to re-do all of p1/2 again. Trust me. This horrible recolour reward is not worth the mental stress this trash mini-game will put you through. Walk away from it while you still can.
