Please nerf the mage tower… been years I’ve been stuck with my lame bear skin and I’m not even close of downing Kruul. It’s even harder than the PTR testing. Yes, the highly skilled people who play 24/7 will call most of us who can’t do it out but we don’t play as much as them. Would be fun that you actually let the average consumer of gamers be able to actually complete the mage tower.
Man I know for a fact that if I can’t get a new bear skin I’m out for good lol.

Lmao, probably but at the end of the day I’ve been playing wow since vanilla and I’ve always hated my bear form. The legit only cool looking one is nearly impossible to get unless you play 24/7 and mastered the game. Kinda sucks ngl
It’s overtuned. But it isn’t only for people that no life the game. I’m as casual as they come and I got the Fel Bear today. Keep at it. If they nerf it great. But don’t give up in case they don’t.

It’s actually quite frustrating the encounter in general. My hands shake like crazy in general and it makes it very difficult for me to target individual mobs across the room the way the tank one is set up, let alone target mobs while 4 other mobs channel a thing that almost immediately kills you if you mess up at all

I never did mage tower in legion but i though the entire point of it was to provide a challenge for players to work on if they wanted to.
Isnt it supposed to be pretty difficult?

Seems to me you’re looking for a reason to unsub.
It is, but some things are one shotting people and others had their damage upped by 100%.
Yeah, the arms one for me felt pretty hard. The damage check for the last phase felt impossible in full pvp gear but i’m also a pve noob.
Ended up just doing the fury one.

Mage tower need some serious nerf.
I main tanks and I tried Prot Pally, Prot Warr and Blood DK (all experienced and well geared). Their Mage Towers are extremely hard. Basically impossible to finish. Nothing is like in PTR.
- Boss has way too much health. Please nerf them to what used to be in PTR. This make tanks hard to kill.
- Mobs and Boss damage is ridiculous. An ilvl 50 character can’t take that much.

Don’t forget, for tank challenge RNG is a MAJOR element of it with when things actually go off and placements.
You can get back to back Life Drains starting before nether spawn finish spawning and right after they finish spawning, and if you don’t interupt during the wind up he basically instantly full heals.
Eyes can spawn on completely opposite sides of the arena and you can’t really get to them fast enough to tag with moon fire, and at least on my bear tank, they are immune to physical damage so you can’t thrash/maul/mangle them to quickly drop them
The p1 one boss has a debuff pool that reduces max hp that’s about as large as your skull bash charge range.
Right now it’s ‘you have to perform perfectly or you fail’ and that’s not fun for the overwhelmingly vast majority of players.
I got the feral skin in legion and regularly could get krull down to the teens in legion. I didn’t care much for the bear skin at the time so i just gave up.
Now, my best attempt was 67% hp on variss i think. And there was i think 2 infernal and 2 eyes and than netherspawns got summoned plus life drain started and it was too much. I had no orb.
I popped berserk, ran in for the interupt and than the spawns channeled their stuff i incapped then moon fire spam the eyes thrash the nethers, had nothing to stop them so i rooted and kited. Survived that just get overwhelmed with damage from everything else.
Either give the tanks a damage buff or reduce the HP of everything. When i watched PTR videos it seemed tough but doable for most casuals. They shadow buffed certain abilities 100% and HP by 300%.
Why can’t blizzard do small nerfs/buffs instead these huge swinging ones.
Like what about a 50% buff to enemy hp not 300 lmfao
