Add an item called “Cache of Spent Relics” to the BMAH rotation that, when used, gives you a Mage Tower artifact appearance for your current spec. The item would be account-bound.

its the same as having nothing, this is like the wrathion wings trinket, it looks cool but whatever, i want a permanent cosmetic thing off this, the way it is now i simple dont care

Rarity is not why people want to keep exclusive items you know. Offering it out there to all the whales for nothing doesn’t solve anything.
It doesn’t do anything for the people who earned them, nor does it do anything for the vast majority of people who would like to get the skins.
You had over a year to log in and get your mage tower appearances. You chose not to, while other people did. Why should our accomplishments be diminished just because you regret not doing it now? Sorry, but that was your loss…

Hard no and hard pass. I 100% do not want Mage Tower appearances to be on the Black Market AH. And sure, people can downplay those who got the appearances in 7.3 when everything was “easier”. But it was still a point of pride for those who obtained it, and that pride doesn’t need to be diminished. Call me entitled, or elitist, or whatever you want, I actually don’t care; exclusivity is not a bad thing for cosmetics like this. It’s no different than the CMs, it’s no different than the Black Qiraji Battle Tank, it’s no different than other past challenges.
Rather than complain about missing out on something, use it to incentivize you going forward. I missed out on the WoD weapons and used that feeling to push myself to getting all 36 Mage Tower skins. I chose to use what I missed out on to push myself harder. Learn from your mistakes, or advocate for something new and exciting to be added in like the Mage Tower. Stop asking for freebies.

This isn’t a solution at all. The whole point was to overcome a challenge during a limited time window to earn the skins. This idea would be nothing more than a glorified handout.
