It’s available to everyone at all times right now. Just gotta go do it. Put in the pulls to learn the fight. Gear advantage is minimal even in full TW set. (5/7 right now, just using shadowlands gear).
Its free. It’s fair. It’s rewarding.

I got overall sadness. The issues affecting the Mage Tower are affecting everything else. In their urge to get more gametime out of players, the very thing that defines mmos which is repetition for the sake of power gain has been butchered with poor scaling, with numbers being skyrocketed and gearing becoming toxic and awful.
If they’re saying they’re concerned about the “average player”, that’s a massive lie. If something has become worse over the years, was the game quality for the casual players.

Why do average players feel like they deserve the same gear/cosmetics as more advanced players?
I would really really really really love if blizz can post the numbers of how many people completed it . It will shut some people on both sides . So if its just a few %ers then MT needs to be toned down but if a massive %ers are doing it then its a skill issue not MT .
Oh and btw because of "average " players wow is still standing tall among other MMOS .
Your “average” players seem to be the ones more often than not making threads about “I can’t do x, I want y, why don’t you just do what I say, otherwise I’m quitting”.
It seems to me like the mentality of the average player is what’s actually hurting this game. We live in a day where instant gratification is most certainly the carrot on a stick that keeps us moving from a to b. When we don’t get what we want, we quickly move to another source. MMOs don’t really fit well into that scheme, especially considering the time investment.
It’s probably why league, mobas, COD/BF games are the mainstay these days. Cash shops, minimal time investment, and a free outlet to rage at internet strangers.
WoW won’t last forever, it’s also ridiculous to expect any game developer to cater to a merry go round of changing expectations.
TLDR: there’s lots of games out there, if you feel like you’re wasting your time on something, probably a good idea to find something you enjoy. There’s always something better around the corner.

Blizzard is a company that want money so if the majority is among "average " players then they will cater to them not to the 1%ers . How much we can make is their motto not other peoples happiness .
