Came back in Season 4 and didn’t know you could do mage tower whenever now. Anyone gave these a go since the patch. The healer one is crazy, I bought some organic discombobulation grenades due to running out of CC. Everything hurts lol.
The healer tower in legion was much easier than this…i know it is possible, but out of all the mage towers, the black rook hold one needs to be done near perfectly. Thankfully the other Mage towers, a least for priest, are easier and i did those instead lol.
I was trying disc priest and aff lock the other day. Feels impossible at the moment. Scaling is whack. I did next to no damage. Could just be me of course.
I won’t like it, but WoWHead has a useful guide on doing the Mage Tower with how scaling works.
However, pre-patch scaling may have done a number to it.
Also, the rewards you get are different than the original Mage Tower. Not sure how long you were gone, so that’s worth mentioning.
Each class gets a recolour of the ToS sets.
There’s more than that, but just a warning incase you were going for an old legion MT Artifact unlock.
I did the Warrior one back in Season 1 or 2 of Dragonflight.
Can confirm prepatch scaling royally F’d it balance wise, tank challenge is extreme levels harder than it was prior to prepatch due to scaling balance changes we get every prepatch since BFA and the fact tanks got nerfed, hearing the god king one is near impossible from quite a few people too.
Kurog is doable but so much harder than before that it’s advised to bring a tank trinket that shields you (dreadplate, fyrakks heart, WoD heirloom trinket).

I’ve tried it on a few classes and yes, the scaling is completely broken. I would recommend not even attempting the mage tower right now.
