I’ve made a lot of arguments for this specifically in the case of Druids. Feral & Guardian are the most restricted specs in the game for the sake of Transmog. 6 alternate appearances are all we have so it does suck that the Mage Tower appearances were removed, far more so for druids than any other class. We may never get it but i’d appreciate Bliz throwing us a bone and creating new Glyphs for the sake of cat/bear forms. Recolored/down graded versions of the Mage Tower forms would be awesome and would probably make some happy for not having to wear the daggers/fist weapons thanks to a glyph.

No. I agree this form is awesome dude. I busted my hump to get it and many others because it was a limited time, for sure going away thing. If I could learn 24 specs and classes in time to do their challenges (ok well I knew like 3: Prot pally, Blood DK, and Veng DH at the time but still point there is far more I learned to do that didn’t know) then ANYONE could have. A lot of them I did without the empowerment at the end too. Why all that effort? So I did not feel like you do now in regards to appearances. I have that same feeling towards the WoD weps, the MoP armor, and the pre WotLK judgement armor. It sucks missing out dude, but if they implemented these, they would HAVE to implement all the others. Why? Well why are your wants more important than the others? Why is your desire for the wear bear more important than my desire for the Judgement recolor? It isn’t, and once blizz makes one exception there HAS to be others. It is better to learn from your mistake, and take advantage of anything further they implement.

I’m sure you’ll get a whole lot of angry no’s for this thread. But as someone with the werebear, I couldn’t care less. Let’s face it if they’d never taken the mage tower challenges away, no one would be protesting them and asking for them to be removed. It’s only because they are now gone, creating this sense of prestige that people are so precious about it. Can’t have the riff raff stinking up the lounge!
As soon as it was gone I was immediately regretting all the ones I never got, and wishing I’d put in the time. So I’d be stoked if they brought it back. Even if just for a short time like a little promo event. But I’m not going to ever make that much noise asking for it. The ones I got were the ones I really wanted at the time. The rest can just live in my dreams with the sparkly plant moose.

I don’t think they should come back. I like time sensitive rewards even though there’s a couple I missed out on and that depresses me a little when I think about them. But, I’m a damn adult. I moved on and I don’t pine for the past. It’s pointless and unhealthy. I would suggest everyone that keeps crying about the MT do the same.

Just some tips when asking for removed items to be re-added , don’t conflate content with rewards (the mage tower content was the fights not the artifact skins) and I’m sure most of you don’t want the fights back without the skins , second calling people who earned the items when realvent and wanting to keep them exclude things like snowflakes and what not isn’t a good look. Finally op it happens you miss thing but trophy items are exactly that is sucks you missed them but deal with it , I’m sure every single player has something they want that they can’t get anymore.
No, they cannot be replicated due to talents/artifact abilities/legos/class overhauls/tier set bonuses. It just won’t work. Not to mention that do you release them with the original tuning or when they were faceroll at 970 ilvl in antorus gear? You had over a year to get them; just no.

I want some of the old challenge mode armor and weapons. I’m not getting it because it was current xpac only content. Same with mage tower. It’s not coming back.

Answer is still no. No make tower for old appearances. If they bring back something like the mage tower with new appearances then go for it, I’m on board. Not for old appearances though.

There are a ton of people who made videos of the items they used, gear, talents, consumables, etc. Blizz could use as a character template. Obviously it would be class / spec specific unlocking, not just 1 class and you are done sort of deal.

Chill. Im not asking for the scarab lord title I was hoping another event may come up to get an exclusive form thats only available from content passed. I didnt get a chance to do it in legion (my fault obv) what im saying is that its a form. Not a cool armour or neat weapon. Its very unique and to have mage towers make another appearance and specifically have that form available again even if its a different colour I would like that and im sure im not the only one.
Dont mean to take away from the people who did it at the time
But thats what it does if you just carbon copy it. You take away from the people that DID put the effort in because as you admit freely, YOU didn’t take the effort to do it then like they do.
Why should people that didn’t put the effort in when it was available still get something that was told up front it goes away at end of expac?

That’s the problem with the whole mage tower concept. You may switch mains in the next expac, you may find new classes you love. But if you weren’t playing it in legion and didn’t get it when it was open your outta luck.
But good news is now we have scaling! If Blizzard uses this tool they can possibly bring back this challenge and freeze it in the moment it was challenging forever. This way it will always be a accomplishment and always be available for those brave enough to try it even if they never played that class in legion.

NO. That isn’t a good thing, because even with scaling, them doing that removes the effort the others put in when they were told it was exclusive for only a set time. These people had a year to level alts, get geared, etc. MY lazy butt did it in 3 or 4 months for 24/36 classes and specs. It just took dedication to something besides sitting in TC saying thunderfury jokes between ques.

They’ve stated that they don’t want Mage Tower like features every expansion because they don’t want that to be an “expectation” every xpac.
They’ve also stated that certain things should be time restricted because they want some prestige for being there and accomplishing it when it was relevant. Chalk Mage Tower skins up to shoulda done it when it was available. I passed on the tanking ones since my abilities in those specs were rusty so I’m hoping they’ll release more flails at some point but I live with my decision.
True, but that is why I also suggested it would be a new color tint to the original skin, not the original skins themselves, so people who earned them back in legion could still have theirs, but people who missed out, or newer people would have the opportunity to obtain the skin itself, but in a different tint. Which in itself, would also give older players something of a new challenge to complete as well. Those Challenge Rifts are pretty fun and interesting to try out if you never have!

Alright you guys are right to say no to recolours and and the ability to come back to it in a sort of timewalking away. I see the arguments.
So a new challenge mode with more stuff? I just want somethingggg if we arent going to have tier sets. Jussayin

WoW is defined by its exclusivity. As this forum demonstrates, it has earned Blizzard a fanatically loyal fanbase who will defend every decision it makes. It has been, without a doubt, one of the most successful marketing strategies of all time.
If you resent being denied access to content or items because you weren’t playing (enough) when they were current, Blizzard doesn’t want you playing their game.
I can’t but admire how arbitrary it is, though. You can defend the removal of the Mage Tower skins on account of Blizzard wanting to punish people who weren’t subscribed or didn’t spend enough on the content when they wanted them to, but defending it on account of the content now being faceroll as most fans do is just asinine.
Raise your hand: who here doesn’t have numerous mounts, skins, and titles from facerolling content you were nowhere close to obtaining when it was current?
