Hitting up them interwebs and trying a combo of different things but the chromie gear was a bust and the PvP gear is about 800k-1m for the full set.
Any last minute gears I should give a try?
Just do some old legion or WoD raids and wear whatever has sockets/leech/speed or w.e. You can use old enchants on anything under level 50 which is a decent boost.
The main thing you want is good trinkets.
Here’s the nerd list, most of it is chromie gear but you can see gems/enchants/trinkets/consumes and what not too.
I missed out on the mechanome trinket. Do you have any other suggestions I should shoot for?
I assume you’re doing guardian so i’d go for unblinking gaze of sethe and ravaged seed pod.
Because the proc is so strong, Unblinking Gaze of Sethe is supposed to be a really good option for all druid specs even though it’s an int trinket

Intellect. It’s technically a caster dps trinket but it’s good for guardian druids too

What happens when legion gear drops ilvl60 items? They no good then?
Getting ilevel 50 is more important for some slots than for others. An ilevel 50 (or lower) weapon is necessary for the best weapon enchants if your primary stat is strength or agility, but if you go too far below 50 it probably won’t be worth it. I think you can change the ilevel of your artifact weapon by changing the relics.
The timewalking discord says one of the best options for guardian druids is an ilevel 50 artifact weapon because the artifact weapon is the only way guardian druids can get the benefits of dual wielding enchanted weapons.
This toon never raised his artifact weapon in Legion. So it’s bare bones new legendary. But I’ll definitely go switch to the claws then.

I don’t remember but I think in Legion you probably couldn’t, because there were no weapon enchants added in Legion, and the ilevel limit on WoD weapon enchants was probably set too low. Because of the stat squish you now can.
Mist of Pandaria gear bought with Marks of Honor on the Wall, is item level 42 and has all the sockets. Good alternative
Also… if your Legion Legendary weapon does NOT have any artifacts attached, you can grab one (+16 ilvl) from a WQ or any Legion raid and use the Legendary weapons (ilvl37) with the Old OP enchants.

I got the I’ll 48 crafted pvp gear with sockets off the AH for about 5k to 10k per piece. The zin’anthid for potions was very expensive.

My legendary weapon is sitting at ilvl 54. That ok?
Just wait like 2-6 days for Blizzard to fix the overtuned mess (proving they can’t even implement content THAT ALREADY EXISTED).

They require item level 50 or lower. Crusader and Dancing Steel seem to be very powerful at the moment.

Then smash some versatility gems in those holes.
Run with the recommended trinkets as well
Crafted MoP gear with Relics of the past IV and V are respectively ilvl 48 and ilvl 54 with the same sockets. Use Relics of the Past IV for Belt/Pants/Boots for enchants that require sub-50, and just pick the proper gems for ilvl 54 and ilvl 48 pieces respectively.
