Mage Tower hype pretty much disappeared

i agree you look cute already

We’ll see how well it actually gets tested and how balanced (or unbalanced) it ends up being. Then I’ll have a better idea of what to expect from it.

I was here for WoD and BFA so your hyperbole doesn’t really hold up. SL may be the last straw for players who are tired of the dev team’s vision, but it’s by no means the game’s worst expansion.

Not that this point is relevant, of course. I don’t see how any of that has to do with the dev team’s decision on the mage tower.

I lost hype for it because it’s only open during 2 weeks of legion time walking.

idk what’s worse. the complaining about boosting or the complaining about limited rewards.

You’re wrong. Because of how much stuff Legion TW is adding (mage tower and m+ legion dungeons) the first week Legion TW is available will last an extra week aka 2 weeks instead.

Afterwards, it’ll be put on the typical event cycle. It’s not a one time thing.

The two go hand in hand at the end of every expansion, so the frustration is understandable. I’d argue that neither are necessarily good for the game, but only one really leaves some permanent hard feelings (limited time rewards). Boosting has been a thing since forever. It’s just salt in an open wound right now because everyone’s upset about something, big or small.

Ok details a little off. What I meant was: mage tower will not be available 24/7 365, starting day one with the drop of 9.1.5.

Your downplaying doesn’t hold up to even the simplest scrutiny. Every community has turned against this expansion, and big long time WoW personalities have been quitting left and right. It’s over for this expansion

I already have pretty much all the skins I want from mage tower I just want others to be able to attain them especially the fire glaives and flails and ghost kitty.

the main issue is how frequent it’ll be available. there’s so many events that have bloated the schedule that it could be over 2 months between each legion timewalking if not more.

It’s not on live. When it is I will get exited about it and do it plenty. Until then what’s the point?

Current estimates put Legion Timewalking at around…every 6 months or so I think. So yeah, that’s not okay, at least for the Mage Tower.

people who fail to realize the issues with the game latch onto the first thing that upsets them and cry wolf on how it’s “ruining the game” when it’s not.

boosting is fine. limited rewards are fine.

that is such a disgusting wait.

The issue for me is that we have to wait at all. It killed my hype. All I was saying.

It’s literally the only thing I’m excited for with 9.1.5 and I have to wait for it after the patch drops, which is who knows when.

A nice and healthy attitude that any normal person would have.

Unfortunately there are certain… types… who have attached themselves to this game to an unnerving degree, and thus they see more people getting FOMO content as a personal attack on themselves.

Any hype that was there was immediately gone after they announced the garbage recolored sets.

Complete the bear form, never touch again after that, the rest ain’t worth the time.

Idk, I’d like the hunter set. It’s blue, and blue is my jam.

Nah have to do one of each for the mount because new shiny but then done and never touch again. Unfortunately this means I have to do the healing tower which I avoided doing.

It looks like crayons were melted and thrown at it.

I disagree, but everyone’s got their preferences.
