I’m level 51 paladin. I’ve been clearing through my favorite expansion, Legion. When the mage tower came back I accepted the 3 quests for the each of the 3 artifact specs to do the lead up quests to the mage tower. I didn’t get too far with these quests before i realized that with the reintroduction of the mage tower, these quests are now tuned for level 60…
The healing one has completely screwed me over by permanently phasing me into level 60 content. The initial quest takes you to Bradensbrook where Mayor Heathrow gives you quests to heal 8 wounded guys, as the entire area is being attacked by level 60 undead. Regardless of whether I abandon the quest, I can’t leave this phase of Bradenbrook/Black Rook Hold. So I’m at a complete dead end for being able to do the regular Bradenbrook and Black Rook Hold quests, and also can’t move forward with the Insurrection story that takes you to this area.
I thought maybe if I get someone to help me heal/kill the mobs we can just bull through the quests and I can get “past” the point where this area is phased. Nope, party members don’t phase in with me.
So basically I can’t finish legion now without slogging through Shadowlands. Just because I accepted a breadcrumb quest from the mage tower, which has just this lead up quest line inexplicably tuned to level 60.
