I love how the Mage Tower is coming back and the new rewards attached to it. I hate the fact that a lot of cool rewards from the past are no longer obtainable and was wondering what people thought about adding the Garrosh Heirloom Weapons as part of the rewards?
Make it part of a Spec Meta reward where if you complete all mage towers with all healing specs, you are rewarded with the Hellscream’s Barrier and Warmace, and so on with the other respected specs.
How about we just add the missing heirlooms onto the heirloom vendor? They weren’t exactly a challenge to get, unless we’re saying that RNG was a challenge.
As far as I remember, they were not RNG based at all and were 100% drop rate depending on the Spec you were in. So if you were Arms and killed Garrosh, you would get the Hellscream Decapitator 100%.
Regular loot was still RNG though.
I ran that a bunch of times to get all of the weapons I wanted and never got them all to drop.
I just wish theyd introduce more heirlooms, it was a fun way to collect gear for new alts to mess around on. I liked the WoD limited time heirlooms, i wish they scaled down more. The BFA stuff they added was decent but i wish they’d expand more on cool trinket effects etc
I’d like to see heirlooms for every slot. Though, I have a feeling Blizz may regret heirlooms now, because they do make gear irrelevant while leveling.
Honestly i’d be fine if the only slots were ring/amulet/weapon/trinket but they had cool proc effects and stuff. I think that’d be pretty fun and the other slots could still be filled out by quest things, I just really enjoy the ( very few) proc heirlooms we have. thrash blade, the wod trinkets come to mind. Just fun stuff but not specifically “better”
