New rewards blizz please!
A Mage Tower+ experience where you enter with a preset build (or at least gear), so you can’t make the challenge easier by any means whatsoever that rewards the original weapon appearances would be a great idea.
I wish they brought back the originals.
I think the original bear skins are superior. I love the natural, earthy look VS Mt. dew throw up chad bear. I feel bad to use them. I’m using white this winter tho, I have to. Miss it.
So stupid they got rid of them for weak ppl.
As someone who did its first iteration as guardian, I wouldn’t mind if they were to return when tied to a appropriate challenge.
And I also prefer the old reward as well, for their variety in colours alone.
Even though I’ll probably never the PvP variant.
FOMO shouldn’t be a thing… at least not forever.

Something up a year and a half isn’t FOMO. People who pursued the original Mage Tower appearances were doing so because they wanted them, not because they were time-limited. And the original rewards aren’t coming back. They’ve stated that repeatedly, clearly, and definitively, including when timewalking MT and its new rewards were added. Ask for yet more new rewards if you want something else.
Well, it technically absolutely is FOMO (unless of course I have a totally different perception of what that means).
And the more time passes, the more new people come to this game, the more impactful it becomes.
The overarching point being: FOMO should not be a thing.

Because they liked the way they looked. This isn’t difficult to understand. It’s the same reason people go after anything in the world for aesthetic purposes. They like the way something looks.

True. But rarity, exclusivity and the like all have their very own allure - one that can easily outshine any aesthetic aspects. Just as with the recent Feldrake fiasco.
Kinda wish you had the original weapon mogs given as rewards instead of the whole new thing but its whatever. I really wanted to grab the DH mogs while pre-patch was going but I can’t. It would have been nice if you guys had thought ahead and fixed these accordingly so that those of us who were not playing live with pre-patch going could have done it instead… oh well.
Any thoughts (or plans) to keep updating new Mage Tower challenges and rewards?
Would be cool if blizz added a new mage tower every expansion, with new rewards. Would be similar to gladiator mogs/mounts every season

I had fun soloing M0 bosses on my fresh lvl60 warrior, sort of mage tower like challenge, avoiding all the mechanics keeping yourself up and killing the boss eventually. A mode like that with retuning or reimagining old dungeon bosses for a solo challenge would be awesome

How would you feel if you made the weapon and druid form mogs available and just gave people who got it in legion a special recolor

i agree… it is really silly.
everyone wanted the mage tower back to get the weapons and blizzard brings the mage tower back but no weapons lol.
personally, i wish that blizzard would just start making more challenges like the mage tower so people have more new cool things to acquire.

Lol it was to easy for some classes so you want to make it more challenging?
Blizzard devs have no backbone to do something like this. Just because basement dwellers would feel less appreciated
