Anyone that has done the “Highlords Return” have any tips? I tried beating it back in Legion but at the time I was new at tanking; couldn’t beat it and gave up.

I hope it will go fine. It only had 1 day on PTR & I haven’t really seen much about it…So, perhaps it’s tuned all right?
But I can’t imagine it actually being tuned properly, especially with 9.2 tier sets having such obvious disparities in spec powers… So, it will be either an impossible challenge for a few days, or a complete bucket of warm butter.
None the less, I am getting my werebear at all cost.

It really depends on how roughly its scaled, if the ‘new’ tower is scaled for the current tier and up its gonna be a cake walk in a few weeks after patch if its scaled to what it was like in Legion…um play anything but Paladin or be REALLY good at paladin. Keep in mind I did Mage tower on all the tank classes and Paladin was by far the hardest for me and thats what I’m basing it on and it still took me till almost BFA to beat it on Pali.
Tried it both on DH and Prot Warrior. It’s was a no go.
Pally had crazy self heals then… what made it hard ?

From what I read the challenges are going to be exactly the same as in legion. Also they are templating item level as well.
Just throwing this out there but there is a good chance these challenges are going to disappoint people with how hard they are.
They even said they are meant to be hard.
The forums are probably going to be filled with people pissed at how hard the are.
Believe it or not a lot of people despised the mage tower during legion and I find it funny so many people think it was well universally liked. When the mage tower was current Blizz said they probably will never do anything like it again because people complained so much.
Krull did so much damage it was totally insane.
And to kill all the adds so as not to get knocked off you needed the legendary Paladin legs and the sephuls secret to make it manageable. Also an acrono shard I think it was called or acrono crystal. They also nerfed drums as well and that was mandatory then too.
