A reskin is still different from the original forms. You can continue to try and find ways to say things I didn’t, but it’s only makes you look foolish. The MT form hasn’t returned. You cannot get a single form that was in the MT. Felbear, while a reskin, is in fact new and not the same. No amount of your childish whining can change that simple fact.

Dude, you need to sit down with yourself and evaluate where your anger is coming from, lol. Why do you care so much if others are able to get the skins via Timewalking? Why are your emotions so big? Resorting to name-calling? Over a digital cat appearance? Lol
I guarantee you your reaction has nothing to do with the game in itself.
What they’re asking for isn’t a problem. You can’t argue that there are “plenty” of other skins when there are no comparable skins. Suggesting they go to the barber and become a cat made out of roots isn’t the same, lol.
Players that took a hiatus for life, school, or work, etc. – players that did pay for years of subs – deserve to have cool looking druid forms, too. That’s not an unreasonable request.
And it’s not an unreasonable request to ask for just the opportunity to earn them. They’re not even asking them for free, lol. They want to EARN them just like you did. Probably even earn them better than you did, since you undoubtedly got yours after a few patches when you were outgeared.
That shouldn’t bother you.
Perhaps you need to take a hiatus from the game, haha. You need some emotional and mental maturing.
Why can’t they just give us a recolor of it? Makes no sense. And if they aren’t going to do that they need to have new forms consistently. Like at least one new cat and bear per expansion and some re colors.
I’m disappointed with the “updated” mage tower skins for most classes. A lot of classes back then had really amazing weapon transmog and the druid forms were fantastic. It’s a shame that Blizzard went down the lazy off-color transmog route instead of just giving people what they wanted. Not everyone played six years ago.
Here’s the problem with people defending exclusive items. When an item loses it’s exclusivity 99% of people would be happy and not give a damn about the people who lost it especially after 12 month or so.
It’s happened to me costing me millions of gold and 100’s if not 1000’s of hours but these people don’t come to my defence then because it mostly benefited them. Those who don’t want them to return are hypocrites every single one, there’s no doubt.
The Tower is harder and over tuned to the max making it look like a nightmare compared to majority of people over geared runs. It should really be a show of strength not “I played at the right time and waited till I got better gear to walk through it”.
This 100%, as much as I wish I could get the Werebear skins I’m really excited to see what skins we get moving forward for cat and hopefully tree.
Personally I feel if they were constantly releasing new feral, bear and moonkin forms every xpac their would be nowhere near the angst over MT skins. Instead the only big release of skins was Legion.
Keep the old skins. Just give me new skins to earn please.
I adore the Ghost of the Pridemother skin. I played in Legion, I got the weapon skins I wanted for my mage and warlock and paladin, but didn’t think to grab them on my druid because I wasn’t playing it at the time. It is the centerpiece of my WoW regrets.
I wish they would release new colors. For example: let players earn the blue sparkle cat again, but the three legion related colors are for those who beat the MT in legion ONLY. The players who beat the MT in Legion can also earn the 3 new colors, but new players can’t go back and get the Legion ones.
This way, people get their delicious FOMO rewards and the ones like myself that didn’t play a druid in Legion or didn’t play Legion at all get to have a cat that sparkles. Seriously, we can have the best of both worlds here.

I had to take a break from the game during Legion. I got a few of the Mage Tower skins, but I simply didn’t have the time to do it for every class before my hiatus. It wasn’t by choice. Life doesn’t always spoil us with the time to play video games, let alone extremely time consuming MMOs.
But you know, I’ve paid 14 years worth of subscription time, yet I missed one year of Legion and came back in BFA to dozens of transmogs I wanted being unobtainable.
I’m all for rewards for difficult challenges, I love it in fact. Unobtainable rewards are what I have a problem with, and since the introduction of Timewalking there is absolutely no justification for perpetuating such a scummy practice. New players, returning players, consistent players who sometimes need a break, they all get screwed by it.
Items, transmogs, titles, achievements, mounts… how much GD prestige do people think they need? Pick a lane, Blizzard. Actually, I’ll pick it for you: titles and achievements. Not a damn thing else should ever be made unobtainable for the sake of prestige because it’s two short, thick and smelly middle fingers way up to the majority of your paying playerbase who have lives outside of the game.
I’m tired of feeling bitter and PO’d every time I see a sparkle cat. None of the other cat skins even come close in comparison, all dull, none exciting. I got Mage Tower rewards for Demon Hunter, Warlock, Shaman, and Warrior, and there’s never been even a fleeting moment where I thought “Wow I’m so glad I have this thing this other person can never get.” Why? Because I’m not a D!@&.
Agreed, the mage tower forms are so cool looking. Im usually not one to support bringing things back that people worked hard for, but its so hard to feel that way with druid forms since we dont really have many customizable options. I wish they would maybe just introduce a recolor. that way the original forms can keep their glory and we can still get a cool looking version.
