What expansion should I be farming the gear from?
Dauntless gear purchased with nethershards and relinquished gear purchased with veiled argunite currency on the vindicaar can both warforge up to 60 and pop sockets, see my gear.
The chance of warforged and sockets is low. I think itâs probably more important to get a socket and ideal stats that a warforge.
Ah that makes sense now! TY
Yes, I know that.
What Iâm saying is, this gear was available then and is also getting âsquished downâ too
Also: canât get the Argus stuff, actually didnât play from about 1mo into legion until halfway through b4a due to irl stuff involving a house burning down, 60+hr work weeks for a while, and various other issues so never unlocked the broken planet really
Some complaints are valid, but the majority of people complaining here are just wanting the reward for minimal effort. Theres a difference lol
I will never get the form.
But I will get all 20s portals.
Legion gear is now all ilvl 50+. In Legion it was all over the place. Dauntless gear as originally released was pretty inferior. I donât recall equipping any characters with it.
Argus can still be unlocked. But the issue with both these is that itâs probably less than a 1:20 chance of getting an ideal piece of gear, maybe 1:50 perfectly itemized/warforged/with a socket. And farming currency youâll get 1-2 pieces of relinquished gear a day and maybe 4 pieces of dauntless gear, which youâll probably vend out. Itâs definitely a long-term project working at it full-time.
Even with these nerfs, I still wonât be able to do it on this character, but thatâs ok.
I want to have an actual chance considering I have to live with hand tremors when adrenaline starts pumping that get progressively worse the longer that goes on until I canât even WASD move.
Outgearing things is really the only way I can clear anything past Heroics at this point due to physical impairment, not really fair in my opinion for something to be so hyper precise like that with no alternate way to over come it. After all, there is a reason I avoid those types of games and could never be a speed runner.
Heh, yea, I preemptively just went ahead and cancelled my subscription anyways. I should have back in BfA when Devs panicked because a âcosmeticâ weapon was actually a good weapon.
The development team managed to put together 1 tiny miserable âfunâ thing in this patch, not only blotched it massively, but then precedes to go back and smash any hard work from a tiny nitch community because of these dumb towers with no real reward.
Does Karam speed up as the encounter continues?
Is this only suppose to be for around 5%, or less, of the playerbase?
Donât really know how exactly latency works, but feels like the mage tower is harder than it should be for me and I wonder how much of that is playing at 250 ms latency. If that has an effect is there any change of tuning encounters dynamically to account for latency?
Every enemy despawn, another mage told me that itâs a bug with the mage copies and took agro from both brothers and the bosses despawn.
Iâd guess that given the changes that they implemented (over the PTR version) and the hard nerfs they have been giving early gear, gems, and enchants, that they only intended it for 1% of the playerbase to complete. Thatâs why it feels to so many who resubscribed like a bait and switch scam.
towers are buggy as hell, overtuned. the one thing they were hyping for months launches as an absolute disaster. whatever faith i had left in the company has completed faded. not to mention they allow kottick the captain of the sexual harassment team stay on as CEO. what a joke this company is.
Explain how they are doing this? Iâve literally never heard of it happing in the Kruul fight
Better lay off w/e youâre on, itâs making you delusional.
People just want what we had in Legion.
Seem odd that you had lots of people asking for ânewâ content and they give us something that only a very small part of the player base will complete. This being something that Blizzard really hyped too. It seems like another swing and miss on Blizzardâs part.
